How to Set Header and Footer in Excel (Khmer)

Hello everyone! Today I show you how to set header and footer in Excel step by step with easy methods and video guide in Khmer language.
Header and footer help your printed Excel report look clean, professional, and easy to read by showing page number, company name, date, file name, or company logo on top and bottom of every page!
Method 1: Add Header and Footer using Insert Tab
This is easiest way because Excel show you header and footer directly on page!
Step by Step:
- Go to Insert tab on ribbon menu.
- Look at right side in Text group ➔ click Header & Footer.
- Excel will change view automatically to Page Layout View.
- You will see top header divided into 3 boxes (Left, Center, Right):
- Left box: Type document name or company name.
- Center box: Insert document title.
- Right box: Insert date or company logo.
- Scroll down to bottom of page to set Footer box (e.g. insert page number).
💡 Header & Footer Tools Tab: When you click inside header or footer box, a new Header & Footer design tab appears on ribbon menu. You can click buttons to auto insert:
- Page Number (
&[Page])- Number of Pages (
&[Pages])- Current Date (
&[Date])- File Name (
&[File])- Sheet Name (
&[Tab])- Picture / Logo (
&[Picture])
Method 2: Add Header and Footer using Page Setup Dialog
If you prefer classic dialog box method:
- Go to Page Layout tab on ribbon.
- Click small arrow icon at bottom-right corner of Page Setup section.
- In pop-up window, click Header/Footer tab on top.
- Click Custom Header... or Custom Footer... button.
- Type your text or click icons to insert page number, date, or logo.
- Click OK ➔ click OK again.
Method 3: Repeat Table Header Row on Every Printed Page
Sometimes you want title header row of your table (like No, Name, Item, Price) to print on top of page 2, page 3, page 4...
Step by Step:
- Go to Page Layout tab.
- Click Print Titles.
- In Rows to repeat at top box, click selection button and select your table header row (e.g.
$1:$1or$3:$3). - Click OK.
Now when you print or preview (Ctrl + P), header row will repeat on every page automatically!

💡 Quick Tip:
- Format Page Number: Type
Page &[Page] of &[Pages]inside footer box so Excel print like Page 1 of 10, Page 2 of 10.- Hide Header on Page 1: If page 1 is cover page, check box Different First Page in Header & Footer tab so header not show on page 1!
- Switch Back to Normal View: Page Layout view show page margins. To go back to normal grid view, click View tab ➔ select Normal (or click first icon at bottom-right status bar).
